In May 2010, Central was without a Family and Children’s Ministry Leader. Reluctantly at first, Stacey stepped forward to take on the role of interim Leader. Later that year, after much prompting, both from God and the congregation, she agreed to take on the role full time.
For the past 7 years, Stacey has served as our Children’s Leader, sharing God’s love and grace with our most precious resource, our children. She has served as a wonderful role model for them; teaching them to live with grace and with love.
This past Sunday, April 9th, was her final day as our Family& Children’s Ministry Leader. Stacey is moving on to other opportunities, but she isn’t leaving our church family.
In the coming weeks, we will begin the task of re-organizing our Young Adult, Youth and Children’s Ministries. Completing this task will be the top priority of our Session and we hope to have everything in place as soon as possible. Sunday School will continue through this period. Stacey has worked very hard over the past couple of weeks to make sure that all the pieces are in place for the transition to this interim period.
On behalf of Session, we would like to extend our gratitude to Stacey for her service to our children and we wish her well in her future endeavours. We are also very pleased that she has decided to remain a member of our church family.
Thank-you Stacey
