Love is one of the most used words in the Bible. It, more than anything else, is what God created us for and what God calls us to do. We are to love on another. We aren’t just called to love our families or our friends. We are called to love our enemies.

In this series, we will explore the topic of love. What does it mean to love, to give love unconditionally? How does God love us and how does God call us to love each other?

These are the questions we will explore.

This week, we look at what it means to live the life of love that God calls us to live, every day. We are called to love selflessy and to love always. Love isn’t rude or self-centered.

This is what our passage 1 Corinthians 13:4-5a (NLT) tells us.

Making a list

June 16

Love cannot be measured with a list, nor can it be apportioned as a checklist. The action of love is about intent. Love is actively desiring success and joy for another person. Love is actively putting that person first. Love is not a todo list.

Our passages this week: 1 Corinthians 13:4-5c (NLT), 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NCV), Colossians 2:14 (NLT)

All things
