An enthusiastic audience of about 450 people welcomed the ABBA Tribute Band to Central on Saturday, May 11 for two rousing hours of favourite ABBA tunes.
Hands were clapping, toes were tapping and there was dancing in the aisles. Starting with the ABBA’s Eurovision win with “Waterloo” the Tribute Band followed the group through their musical career including such favourites as “Mama Mia”, “Dancing Queen”, “SOS”, etc.
The singers had beautiful voices and sustained the “ABBA” sound throughout. Audience members called the band back for a final recap and everyone left with a bounce in their step and a smile on their face.
