Limpho is working in a factory in Durban, South Africa. Thabang and Likano have also found employment in South Africa. The unemployment rate in Lesotho and South Africa is 27%. These numbers, though endemic to the region, are numbers that Canada experienced only at the deepest depths of the Great Depression of the 1930’s.
Limpho, Thabang and Likano like the rest of our high school graduate and post-secondary graduates, has found employment and are building a future for themselves. The unemployment rate among Rachel’s Home graduates, not currently attending post-secondary institutions is 0%. That’s what happens when we share God’s love.
