TsepangSmallTsepang and her older sister Libuseng are examples of what can be accomplished when we work together. Their parents died of HIV/AIDS and they found themselves living at Rachel’s Home. Here they found a new home and a loving and nurturing family. They grew to become strong, capable and caring young women, exactly the kind of leaders that the new generation of Basotho people need.

Libuseng  graduated with a nursing degree from the National University of Lesotho. She works at a hospital in Maseru, the capital of Lesotho. Tsepang graduated with a degree in business and accounting and now works for the government of Lesotho.

These two young women are wonderful role models for the children of Rachel’s Home.  They regularly return to Rachel’s Home to visit Hilda and the children.

They are proof that Rachel’s Home is a successful model. In its ten short years of operation, Rachel’s Home a tiny orphanage that has never had more that about 50 children has managed to send 16 children to secondary schools and 4 to post-secondary education. With your help, we can help build a generation of skilled and dedicated young leaders to begin the huge job of lifting Lesotho out of the cycle of poverty and disease that has gripped it for so long.
