23 Cans??

Just 23 cans? That’s not a harvest, that’s slim pickings. Remember, every can we collect helps a family in need. Food insecurity is a very real thing in Cambridge.

If we’re going to reach our goal of 1,700 cans, we’re going to need to dig a bit deeper. Last week I miscounted, we still have three weeks left, but we need to collect 98 cans/week to get there.

Remember why we’re doing this.

Inflation has driven food prices way up. The tight rental market has sent rents through the roof. There are a lot of people in our community who are struggling to put food on the table. There are a lot of people, with full-time jobs, who, because of these sky high prices, just can’t make ends meet.

The need is great. So, we need to step up and make a difference.

How can you help?

Easy, bring a can or five to church on Sunday.

You can also drop cans off at the church office Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9:30am and 12:00pm

Or, if you don’t want to shop, you can donate via e-transfer to @office@cpcmail.ca or you can donate online in the form below.
