Peanut butter

Yes, I’ve struggled to find the right puns to butter you up this summer. But we still cracked our first goal of 1,000 jars of peanut butter.

This week, we brought in 92 jars, to reach a total of 1,147, or as Alexander would say 114.7% of our first goal. This will really help us spread the love, as we help our friends at the Cambridge Food Bank, make sure that families in need, in our community have access to a good source of protein.

You can still help us. We will continue collecting jars of peanut butter until Labour Day. Let’s see just how many we can collect.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Bring your jars of peanut butter to church on Sunday.
  • Drop your jars of peanut butter at the church office, Tuesday or Thursday morning from 9:30-12:30
  • Donate via e-transfer to office@cpcmail.ca, Remember to add a note stating the donation is for Fill the Jar
  • Donate online at Canada Helps
