We are not cooking the books. This week, we hauled in an impressive 157 can and jars of pasta sauce. This brings our June total to 298. Yes, we’re still a long way to our goal, but this week was still pretty good. To reach that goal, we need to collect 170 cans each and every week.
That sounds like a lot, but remember, that’s one can per person per week. That’s 97 cents a week, to help make sure that no one in our community has to go hungry.
