Cans Collected
So, what was our haul this week?
109 cans.
We have 10 weeks left. At this pace, we’ll harvest a total 1,520 cans, barely half of Aubrey’s target for us. If we’re going to make it to 3,000 can, we’ll really have to dig deeper.
Remember why we’re doing this.
Inflation has driven food prices way up. The tight rental market has sent rents through the roof. There are a lot of people in our community who are struggling to put food on the table. There are a lot of people, with full-time jobs, who, because of these sky high prices, just can’t make ends meet.
The need is great. So, we need to step up and make a difference.
How can you help?
Easy, bring a can or five to church on Sunday.
You can also drop cans off at the church office Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9:30am and 12:00pm
