Food Drive Update:
The Quest for 3,000 Cans!
Well, soup-er friends, the latest tally is in, and it’s time for a can-did update on our food drive for the Cambridge Food Bank! This week, we collected a humble—but heartfelt—56 cans, bringing our grand total to 635. Not too shabby, but let’s face it: our goal of 2,500 cans is still a few spoonfuls away.
But wait! There’s a twist in the tale (and possibly in someone’s hair). If we reach 3,000 cans by Labour Day, the one and only Aubrey will be sporting green hair for all the world to see. Yes, you read that right: not just a streak, not just a highlight—full-on, garden-fresh, soup-inspired green hair.
So, we ask you: is a future with green-haired Aubrey not worth a few extra cans in your next grocery run? Let’s ladle out the love (and the lentils, and the chicken noodle, and the tomato bisque). The Cambridge Food Bank and your possibly-emerald-topped colleague are counting on you!
Break open those pantries, rally your neighbours, and let’s see the cans stack up—one by one, until Aubrey’s hair is as green as our ambition. Onward to 3,000!
