Soup-er Progress… But We’re Not There Yet! 🥫💪
Central Church family — This was a souper week.
This past Sunday, you brought in 307 cans of soup, bringing our total to a hearty 1,827 cans for the Cambridge Food Bank. That’s no small potatoes! (Or should we say, no small cans of chicken noodle?) Each can represents generosity, compassion, and care for our neighbours.
But here’s the broth of the matter:
We’ve got 3 Sundays left — and we still need 673 cans to reach our 2,500-can goal by Labour Day weekend.
Even more exciting? If we somehow blast past 2,500 and hit 3,000 cans, Pastor Aubrey will preach with green hair. (Yes, actual green. Not metaphorical “green with envy” or a cute sprig of parsley.)
Let’s not let that dye go to waste. 😄
So Central — it’s time to rally! Bring your cans. Challenge your friends. Set a reminder. If you’ve already given, thank you — and consider doubling down if you’re able!
We’ve come this far — but we’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
Let’s finish strong and make a souper impact for our community.
See you (and your soup cans) this Sunday! 🥫✨
