At our recent Missions Night, we were blessed to hear an inspiring update from Alejandro on the Chicken Project — a growing initiative that’s helping families in Cubulco, Guatemala take meaningful steps toward self-sufficiency.
The project was created with a simple but powerful goal: to provide families living in poverty with the resources and training needed to raise chickens. By doing so, they gain access to a sustainable source of nutrition and a potential stream of income through the sale of eggs or poultry.
Alejandro shared stories of real progress — families who, just a short time ago, struggled to put food on the table are now raising healthy chickens, collecting eggs, and beginning to build a future with greater stability and hope. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most transformative work starts with small, practical solutions.
We’re so thankful for Alejandro’s dedication and for everyone who continues to support this mission through prayer, giving, and going. The Chicken Project is not just about poultry — it’s about dignity, opportunity, and faith in action.
Please keep this project in your prayers as it continues to grow and bless more families in Cubulco.
