Go-Guatemala
On October 26th, we along with our partners at Fellowship Baptist Church in Burford, will be sending a team to Guatemala. The team, led by Alejandro Ortiz, will work alongside the local community to construct a Sunday School at the local church in Cubulco, Guatemala. This is Alejandro’s second mission to Cubulco. In 2016, he led a team that helped build the church itself.
In June we placed a mural on the wall of the sanctuary with information about our GO Guatemala Mission Trip. The challenge was to raise $2000 more throughout the summer toward needed building materials.
We are thrilled to report that $2,363.41 was raised and we thank everyone for their generous response. Along with funds raised by our partner church, funds from private donations and funds from several events at Central, we are pleased to report that enough funds for building materials have been raised.
