We’re starting something New

Item of the Month – for the Cambridge Food Bank

Collection baskets for our friends at the Cambridge Food Bank are nothing new. They’ve always been at the back of the church sanctuary each Sunday morning. Starting this March, we’re going to give those baskets a new twist. Each month, we’re going to select an item that the Food Bank is short of and focus our efforts on collecting that item.

We all know people who are struggling. Food and rent have become a real challenge in our community. Organizations like the Cambridge Food Bank, stand in that breach, making a real difference in the lives of people in our community. By standing with them, by collecting food items in a focussed and deliberate way, we can make a difference too.

So, starting in March, we will do just that. Watch our social media. Watch the website and watch the screen in church on Sunday mornings. The last Sunday of the month, we will announce our item of the month for the following month.

So Central, lets do this. Lets make a difference in lives. Lets show Cambridge how much we care!
