Remember when?
This photo is from an Advent service a couple of weeks before Christmas. An ice storm cut power to the church a few minutes before the church service. To late to cancel, we just went “old school” and lit the church by candlelight.
Even when the power dies, hope doesn’t.
Advent is a time of hope a time of looking forward. Well, just to be a bit contrary, we’ll for just a moment, look back at Advent past.
