You’re Invited! Central Church Open House
Step inside one of Cambridge’s most beloved landmarks! Built in 1880, Central Presbyterian Church has been part of our community’s story for nearly a century and a half. Along with the Main Street Bridge across the Grand, our gothic church is one of the most photographed places in all of Waterloo Region.

During our open house, you’ll be able to:
🔔 Climb the bell tower – See the bells up close, learn their history, and maybe even try your hand at playing them! These bells have marked weddings, celebrated the end of two World Wars, and still fill downtown with hymns every Sunday.
🌈 Marvel at the stained glass windows – Each window has a story, and we’d love to share them with you.
🎶 Enjoy live music – Hear our historic Casavant Frères organ and grand piano played by talented performers.

Whether you come for the history, the music, or just the chance to soak in the beauty of this gothic treasure, we’d love to welcome you. Bring your friends, family, and curiosity—you’ll leave with a new appreciation for this cornerstone of downtown Cambridge.
Our virtual tour will give you a taste of what you will see.
