The Fourth Sunday of Advent
On this, the final Sunday of Advent, we celebrate the love that we share through our faith in Jesus Christ.
What does the Bible say about Love?
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’[a] and ‘Hate your enemy.’[b]44 But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 in order that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven, because he causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Please join us on this Sunday of Love and please join us Christmas Eve as we celebrate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the greatest gift of all.
