Our Summer Food Drive for the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank

Yes! Summer is just around the corner. It's time to get out in the sun, to picnics and beaches and of course, it's time for our Annual Summer Food Drive for the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank. Traditionally, summer is a time when the food bank's stores are depleted. The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated this, so it's time to step back up to the plate or maybe the bowl.

You can help us, help our neighbours. With the church closed right now, donating cereal boxes at the church isn't really possible, but we can still make a difference. A few bucks will buy a box of cereal. We will do the shopping for you.

Are we on pace for our goal of 1,000 boxes by Labour Day? Let's just say... the math says we need to dig in and eat our Wheaties.

The good news is that every single box helps our friends at the Cambridge Food Bank provide struggling families with a nutritious start to their day.

So, if you're heading to the grocery store this week, consider tossing an extra box of cereal into your cart. Together, we can make these next few weeks count.

Let's see what we can stack up by next Sunday!
