The 3rd Wednesday afternoon of the month has become a time for members of our Congregation and the wider Community to gather and enjoy singing some of their favourite hymns, joining in fellowship at Central Presbyterian.
With our talented ‘Master of the Keyboard’ Ron Klinck accompanying us on the pipe organ and lead by Elizabeth Cresswell we sing heartily from 2 to 3pm followed by delightful homemade refreshments and lively conversation in the Fellowship Hall.
It being so close to Robbie Burns Day, in honour of our Scottish Heritage, our January hymn sing included a brief presentation by Peter Goudy describing the Scottish heritage of Central and the life of Robbie Burns.
Initiated and sponsored by the Mission and Outreach Committee, this very successful Community Outreach Program has between 30- 80 folks of all ages attending the monthly Musical event. Join us on the following Wednesdays: February 19, May 20, October 21 & November 18.
