John 19:19-22
19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews. 20 Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. 21 The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, โDo not write โThe King of the Jews,โ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.โ
22 Pilate answered, โWhat I have written, I have written.โ
Luke 23:42
39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: โArenโt you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!โ
40 But the other criminal rebuked him. โDonโt you fear God,โ he said, โsince you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.โ
42 Then he said, โJesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[d]โ
