Spring Concert Sunday May 4 at 3 pm
Invite your family and friends to join us as we celebrate spring with an afternoon of beautiful music presented by the 80 voice Waterloo County Teachers' Choir which is renowned for their outstanding concerts. The program will have something for everyone from Mozart to Broadway, Gospel to Movie Medleys. Please come out and support this fundraiser for our Restoration project and Music for Schools. Tickets are $20 (children free) & available on Sunday mornings, online at Eventbrite, from the office, or via website and clicking on tickets.

Art Draw
A local artist has donated some of her original work for our Restoration Project.  There are 2 prints, 2 packs of greeting cards and 2 painted slates.  The items are on display today.  Tickets are $2 each or 3/$5. All proceeds to the Restoration Fund.

“Ladies Lunch" on Saturday, April 26th 11:30 am Central family ladies, please join us for some social time! We will meet for lunch at a restaurant (name to follow). Please contact Terry Carney (terry@cpcmail.ca) or Kim DeJong by Thurs April 24.

Notes from The Board of Managers Meeting
In Our Backyard has been hired to do yard work around the church. They will be doing cleanup work, fertilizing and mowing the grass.
*A new water softener has been installed to work in conjunction with the sanitizer. This will improve the efficiency of the unit due to the hard water here in Galt.
*A furnace above the kitchen was replaced.
*Security of the building was discussed due to recent events regarding the downspouts. Security is also an issue during church services and concerts.

Garage Sale Cancelled 
Sorry for any inconvenience, but the Missions Team has decided to cancel their garage sale this June. We usually donate our unsold items to the RPM Thrift Store at 15 Water St. N. (519 623 2274), which is very close to Central, and they would appreciate your items.

Name Tag Sundays coming up!, May 4th and June 22nd

 

The Christian Education Team is now accepting applications for Canada Summer Jobs Students.
To be eligible, youth must:
• be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period*
• be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment** and
• have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
This position is 35 hrs/ week, Monday through Friday, (no Sundays), for 8 weeks, June 30 – August 22 2025. Please send your resume no later than Sunday May 11, 2025 to christianed@cpcmail.ca Questions can be directed to Elizabeth Cresswell.
