SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25

The Session has accepted the recommendation of the Search Team that the Rev. Carel Grundlingh is the person best suited to be our next minister.

• The Rev. Carel Grundlingh will lead our worship service on Sunday October 25.


• Immediately following the service, there will be a congregational meeting where we will decide if we wish to call Rev. Grundlingh to be our next minister.


• Please make every effort to be here that day for the service and the meeting.


• Pray that God will give us wisdom in our decision making.

 

Hymn Sing Café

Join us October 14th @ 2pm in the sanctuary. We are excited to feature Allison Lupton and we will be joined by Katherine Rochester at the organ and Elizabeth Cresswell, who will lead us in singing many favourite hymns. Refreshments to follow.

 

Restoration Fundraising Concert

Our next fundraising concert will be Saturday November 7th at 7pm with Allison Lupton and her 5-piece band including the Canadian national fiddle champion and Canadian step dance champion.  We are part of her regional tour to launch her newest album, "Step Up Molly".  Tickets are $35, children 12 and under free.  Tickets are available on Sunday mornings, in the office, on Eventbrite and from elders.

 

Eyeglass Collection

Once again new or used eyeglasses, sunglasses and especially non-prescription reading glasses and eyeglass cases are being collected beginning Sunday, October 4 through Sunday, November 29 to assist the CACHA - Canada Africa Community Health Alliance. The donations will be taken to Tanzania in January 2027. The collection box will be at the back of the church for your generous donations. For more info please see Elizabeth Cresswell.

Small Groups

Interested in joining a small Bible study group?  Interested in getting to know a small group of people on a deeper level?  We'd like to host a small group in our home and begin a beautiful connection.  We'd like to begin on the 25th of October at 7pm.  Please let us know if you are interested and come find out what it's all about.  We have not yet decided what it will look like as we will do this together with the group.
