FILL THE BOWL
GOAL: 1000 packages/boxes of CEREAL for the Food Bank by Labour Day
As of August 30 our total is 967.
Donations can be left in the red collection bin by the display board. Monetary donations are also welcome through etransfer office@cpcmail.ca or Sunday offering cheque, credit card or cash. Please indicate that your donation is for “FILL THE BOWL”.

Doors Open Waterloo Region
Central will be open to the public on Saturday September 19 from 10 am to 4 pm as part of Doors Open Waterloo Region. This includes tours of the bell tower.  This is a great opportunity to invite family and friends to learn more about our church.  This year we will have a number of items available including original roof slates and greeting cards featuring our stained glass windows and pictures of Central.

CHURCH OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Central Church, Cambridge, is seeking a part-time new Church Office Administrator to carry out administrative and accounting tasks and support our ministry teams, committees and the congregation.
The preferred candidate will work with minimal supervision and have highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills. The ability to work with sensitivity and discernment in a faith community would be an asset. Work week: 20 to 25 hours.

REMINDER: PRAY FOR OUR SEARCH TEAMS
Please set a phone alarm for 6:10 each day to pray for our search teams - for our new minister and for someone to work with our youth and our young adults. Choose morning, evening, or both—whatever fits your routine. Meditate on Matthew 6:10: “Your kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” as you ask the Lord to direct the search teams and the people who the Lord is calling to come and work with us.

Suicide Prevention Workshop
Gale Presbyterian Church in Elmira is hosting a Suicide Prevention Workshop on Saturday September 19 from 8:30-12:30.  Cost is $20 per person.  Call 519-669-2852 to register.

Alison Lupton Concert November 7, 2026
Save the date!  Our next fundraising concert for the restoration project will feature Allison Lupton and a number of Canadian musicians including, Canadian fiddle champion Shane Cook.  Saturday November 7th at 7 pm. Tickets on sale soon!
