Dr. Derrick Mueller serves as one of the Executive Directors for Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI Canada). Born into a broken home and facing trauma at a young age, he spent his early years moving between foster families in Northern Quebec. He dealt with language barriers, health issues, and learning difficulties, all of which made school a tough experience for him.

His accomplishments include being published all over Canada and USA, being an executive coach, leadership consultant, trainer, TV and radio personality and director of publishing. He has written over 10 different books with his latest book entitled ³The Amaryllis Way- Growing Leaders who Grow Leaders and the ³Power of Team². He has been called upon by public sector, school, community and church organizations as a strategic planner and vision facilitator. He oversees the East Coast, but his path into a career in education and leadership was far from typical

Through pain, perseverance, and a deep sense of purpose, Dr. Derrick Mueller is shaping a future where Christian schools in Canada don’t just survive—but thrive—equipped to impact lives, inspire excellence, and stand strong in a changing world.

“As I reflect on my journey of observing, reflecting, and studying Christian schools, I’ve identified six essential factors for their success: God, parents, teachers, churches, communities, and boards. I firmly believe that when these six factors work together in harmony, Christian schools can thrive and fulfill their mission.” Ultimately, Derrick sees Christian education as more than academic instruction—it’s about transformation. “The gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives. It changed mine. And now, I get to help others find that same hope.”
