What does our Alpha look like?
- Each evening begins with dinner and conversation. Nothing very deep, it’s just a chance to get to know each other, maybe make new friends and enjoy a good meal, and yes, the food is very good.
- After dinner, our speaker introduces the topic for the evening with a short presentation.
- After the presentation, in small groups, we discuss the topic introduced by presentation. Within reason of course, nothing is off-limits. The groups provide participants with opportunity to discuss the talk in an environment where each person is free to ask or say whatever they wish.
There is no cost to Alpha. It’s our invitation to you to join us for a discussion.

What is Alpha?
We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore faith, ask questions, and share their point of view.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.
Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs online, in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: connection, content, and conversation.
