Friends,
As I write this email to you, I am reminded of the comforting words of

Psalm 27:1,
The Lord is my light and my salvation—
    whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

I pray that you are doing well and that you can use this time to connect with friends and family (in new and innovative ways) despite the social distancing that we are all practicing. Closing the church and not having a service last week was not an easy thing to do, however we did not do this out of fear, we did this because we are called to be good stewards of everything the Lord gives us and that includes his people. We want to take care of our families and our vulnerable people to the best of our abilities and because of that we decided not to gather as a congregation.

Although we cannot gather as a church community on Sundays the church continues to do its work and all of the staff are working from home. With this said we still have to continue paying the staff and our bills, this will only be possible with your continued support. Thank you for that.
There are many ways in which you can continue giving your tithes and offerings:Using e-transfers. We are setup for auto deposit, so you do not need a password. This is perhaps the best and most convenient way for those who have online banking. There is also the possibility for signing up for PAR (Pre-authorized Remittance)You can drop your envelope off at the office if you want to get out and get a little fresh air. We will check at the office every day.You can mail your offering to the church. Mail to Central Presbyterian Church, 7 Queen’s square, Cambridge, ON. N1S 1H4.Thank you very much for your continued support.

20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21)
