It is hard to believe that we are already nearing the end of May. I hope you have enjoyed the nice warm weather of the last week and that you have been able to make the most of it (within the rules).
Please remember to pray for the students, who are not going back to school. It has been a very difficult and, in some cases, even traumatic experience for many of them. Some of them are missing out on important moments like graduation and prom; something that they have been looking forward to for a long time. Pray of our parents who have to guide them through this difficult time and please continue to pray for the teachers who have been working hard to keep the students focussed and trying to get them through most of the curriculum.
Worship – Online
To watch the livestream at 10am on Sunday just go to the website and click on the YouTube link in the top left-hand corner. Or click here.
Those of you who are on Facebook can also watch the service there. Just a reminder the premiere on Facebook is at 11am. Click here for the link to our Facebook page.
You will find the weekly Podcast on the Home page under Podcasts. Click here for the link to this week’s Podcast.
Use of the church
In an effort to keep all of us safe and well going forward, please inform the office of any visits to the church. If it is regular visit, we can set up a specific time each week, please let us know and we will block the time out.
By doing this our custodian Don is aware of the comings and goings and he can attend to the sanitizing and janitorial needs. Thank you for your help in this regard.
Family Ministries – Project
We would like our families to participate in a fun project. If you feel comfortable please send us a picture (or two) of some of your activities with the children. Especially of some of the things you did with the projects you received from Kerri. We would like to make a slideshow to show during one of the services on a Sunday. You can send the pictures to Kerri at kerri@cpcmail.ca.
Ministries
There are links to all the ministries on the website or you can leave a message at the office if you need help with anything.
If you have specific prayer requests please email the Prayer ministry at prayer@cpcmail.ca.
Zoom coffee time – June 7th
We are planning a Zoom coffee time after the service on June 7th. Please join us after the service, Carolyn Witzke will be the host. It is an opportunity to connect with others and see a few familiar faces again. We will post a link to the Zoom coffee time on the 10am livestream as well as on the email next week.
A reminder of Paul’s well known words in Philippians 4:4-7:
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
God bless,
Aubrey
