August 11

It has been a while since my last email. I hope you are keeping well and enjoying summer with your loved ones, while staying safe. Our ministry leaders have been working hard throughout the summer.

Here is a short excerpt of what Kerri Beda wrote regarding the virtual VBS this year: “We have just finished up our VBS…and a busy month of July!  The summer interns did a fantastic job preparing all of the material that went into the boxes and making it a special week for the children.  37 children participated, and we have had positive feedback from several parents.  On more than one occasion, I had parents asking “what do we need to pay for this?”  It was wonderful to be able to say that our church supports children and family ministry, but we would be grateful if you would like to make a donation to our mission project “Share Food” (Rachel’s Home).

How blessed we are that despite the pandemic we can continue the work of the Lord. Kassidy and the Junior High’s have been busy over the summer with weekly programs. It’s been a lot of fun, just have a look at the program on the left.

The Summer Interns will be with us until December and they continue to be an amazing gift to the church. The Interns had a Pizza lunch at Central with Mr Bryan May our MP at the end of July to thank him for his help with this project.

Thank you to those of you who were able to complete the survey regarding the re-opening of the building for in-person-worship. According to the feedback it seems that most people are not completely ready to return for regular worship yet. The Re-opening Team considered all the feedback we received and decided not to start with in-person services before September. We will keep you up to date by email as well as in the announcements on Sundays.

In the meantime, we will continue with the online services which are live streamed on Sunday at 10:00.

The online services are available on both YouTube

and Facebook

Remember that you can watch the service anytime during the week by using the same links or going to the website at

If you need help, please feel free to reach out. You can email the office at or call 519-623-1080.

Psalm 150

Praise the Lord.

Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
    praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
    praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with tambourine and dancing,
    praise him with the strings and pipe,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
    praise him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord.

God bless,
