Last week I promised that we will keep you updated on the decisions regarding the re-opening of our church facilities. I have a bit more news regarding that this week. The team tasked with working on this made its first report to the session and I can share the following with you.
Right now our plan is to have a “test run” on August 9th for approximately 50 people only. This will be mostly Elders, Board members, Staff, Tech Crew and Praise team. The rational behind this is to see how well our protocols are working and if we are ready for a full opening. If all goes well the plan is to have our first Sunday back on August 16th. Full details will be released a bit later
Please check the website at https://centralchurchcambridge.ca/ often. We will post all information regarding this process on the website as soon as it is available. The same information will also be communicated by email and the elders will phone everyone in the congregation to make sure the information gets to everyone.
As for the online services they will continue throughout the summer and after re-opening

Summer programs
We are accepting applications for summer interns. The application forms are available online on the church website. The applications must be emailed to Alan Robertson (alanrobertson@teksavvy.com ) or to the church office (office@cpcmail.ca) by Wednesday June 24th. Virtual VBS in a box is coming to your doorstep, July 27-31. The registration forms will be sent out by email this weekand will also be posted on the website. Feel free to share the link with friends and family.
