Hilda’s daughter, Joyce grew up at the orphanage.
As she matured, she began to take on some of the responsibilities of looking after the younger children at the orphanage. This became her calling and she chose to study Child Psychology. She graduated last year with an honor’s degree from the University of South Africa in Pretoria .
She is currently, working on her master’s degree while she continues to volunteer at Rachel’s Home. Her work ethic and her commitment to pay it forward, is a wonderful example.

Joyce completed her masters degree and is now working alongside her mother to make a difference in the lives of the children at Rachel’s Home.
