Still Smiling-Even at the End
On behalf of the Missions & Outreach Committee, I’d like to thank Johan & his team from Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their ongoing support of our mission to provide quality education and a hope for the future to our friends at Rachel’s Children’s Home in Maputsoe, Lesotho.
Thabang, Mpho, Likano and Limpho are remarkable young people. Each of them, lost their parents to the ravages of HIV/AIDS. They’ve fought through adversity to reach high school and with our support they will complete their education and have an opportunity to build a better future, not just for themselves, but also for their community.
Johan led his team of 14 runners in the Hamilton Road to Hope Half Marathon. This was their fifth run in support of our friends in Lesotho. Thank-you to each of the runners from the hospital. Thank-you too to everyone who sponsored a runner. With your help, we’re building a better future.
