Hymn Sing Café: Join us April 8th @ 2pm in the sanctuary. We will feature the Grand Harmony Chorus ensemble and will be joined by Katherine Rochester at the organ and Elizabeth Cresswell will lead us in singing many favourite hymns. Refreshments to follow.
The chorus will be singing with the KW Chamber Orchestra on Sunday April 19 at 2 pm at the Knox Presbyterian Church at 50 Erb Street in Waterloo. Tickets for this event can be purchased online using this link: https://ticketscene.ca/events/54978/.

Vacation Bible School 2026: VBS will take place July 20 until July 24 9am-12pm. Registration forms are available via our website or church or children’s ministry offices.

To be eligible, youth must
1) be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period*
2) be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment** and have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
This position is 35 hrs/wk, for 8 weeks, Jun 29 – Aug 21 2026.

Spring Clean for Central's Indoor Garage/Bake Sale - On Saturday June 13 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. your Missions & Outreach Team is organizing a Garage/Bake Sale in the church hall to raise funds to support our mission projects. Here is your chance to clean out your closets and donate clean gently used items in good repair for a great need.
You will be able to drop off donations on Friday June 12 from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Some suggestions: baked goods, crafts, be a vendor, books, art, spring and summer clothing, toys, smaller furniture, kitchen items, outdoor items, plants, and garden items
Note: No old electronics and large furniture accepted
How you can volunteer to help us!
1. Donate items for our sale.
2. Do some baking for our bake sale. E.g., cookies, loaves,
squares, pies, etc.
3. Help to organize items for sale on Friday (1 - 3 hours from
9 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.).
4. Help to sell items on Saturday morning (9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
Or help to sell coffee and muffins at hall kitchen window.
5. Help to pack up after the sale is over (1-2 hours).

Welcome Lunch - If you have started attending Central in the past year, we invite you to join us for our annual Welcome Lunch after the worship service on Sunday May 3, 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet some new people, chat with current members and learn more about Central from some church leaders and our minister.

Community Clean-Up!- Join Central's crew for 2026 community clean-up. April 25 @9:30am - 12:00 noon @ Central Church. Sign up sheet available at the back of the church or email Darren dwschmidt99@gmail.com by April 19. Come dressed for the outdoors - supplies i.e. gloves, pickers and bags will be provided. Early birds, arrive by 9:00am to grab a coffee from Melville Cafe.
