A Joyful Time
A wedding is a joyful celebration of your love and commitment toward each other.
Celebrating our Faith
There is no greater privilege than to know Jesus Christ and to worship Him. It’s important for a couple to express their faith and personal commitment as part of the wedding ceremony. Throughout the service, your minister will help you find ways to express your faith.
Our Wedding Coordinator
Our Wedding Coordinator has been doing this for a long time. She knows what goes in to making your wedding a special occasion and she will be there to guide you through every aspect of the planning process.
Our Wedding Coordinator will meet with you to plan the wedding to ensure that the day is special in the way you want it to be. You will discuss requests such as the use of candles, microphones, the sound system, placement of flowers, signing the register, photography, music and video.
Our Wedding Coordinator will be present at the rehearsal and the wedding to assist the wedding party and guests. The wedding coordinator is responsible for opening and closing the church at the rehearsal and on the wedding day, as well as safety and security for everyone in attendance.

Meet Aubrey
Aubrey is the lead pastor at Central Church.
Your wedding day is but the first day of your marriage. It’s important that you prepare yourself for your life together. Aubrey, and his wife, have been married for more than 40 years. He has counselled many couples. He knows the importance of a firm foundation and his advice and counsel will help you build that foundation in your marriage.
Of course, he’s also a caring and uplifting public speaker. As your officiant, he will put you at ease. Your wedding day is in good hands.

Planning your Wedding
In the Presbyterian Church, all wedding requests are approved by the Session.
First, we ask you to complete and submit a Wedding Request Form. Once received, our session will review your request and once it’s approved, our Wedding Coordinator will contact you to walk you the the next steps.
Pre-Marriage Counselling
Couples are required to complete a marriage preparation course prior to the wedding. This requirement may be met in one of two ways. You may arrange counselling with Aubrey or provide written verification of completion of another marriage preparation course.
Licence
A marriage licence may be obtained anywhere in Ontario at a Municipal Office. The licence must be presented to the minister at least three weeks prior to the ceremony.
Your Special Day
Music
Our wedding co-ordinator will work with you to ensure that the music is just right for your special day. Our sanctuary has a beautiful Schimmel grand piano and a Cassavant organ.
Flowers
Of course, our wedding coordinator can guide you through that process too.
Sound and Light
Ambience is, of course, very important to a wedding ceremony. We have a team of audio technicians and we can tailor our services to your needs.
Someone very important can’t attend the service?
Not a problem, our team can offer a private streaming service.
Animals
While we appreciate that family pets are well loved, only registered service animals are allowed in the church.
