For more that 140 years, families in Cambridge have worshiped and celebrated in this historic building.
In response to a thorough engineering investigation, in the spring of 2022, we completed phase #1 of these repairs.

Phase #1

Replace and upgrade the roofing system.
$2.5 Million
  • Replace the old slate shingles on the roof
  • Replace the slate shingles on the spire
  • Replace copper panels and flashings on the spire
  • Upgrade lightning protection, trim, eaves and chimney
  • Repoint critical exterior masonry
  • Replace fire alarm system
  • Upgrade plumbing
  • Replace existing side entrance walkway and upgrade accessibility
  • Improve landscaping
