This year, we will kick-off our campaign to build up to Giving Tuesday with our run for Rachel’s Home. Our team from Central and our friends from the hospital will be running in the Road to Hope Hamilton Marathon, Saturday November 4th and Sunday November 5th. Our entry fees will support the Road to Hope charities and our fund-raising will support Rachel’s Home. Please support our efforts by visiting our page at Canada Helps
Lerato and Ketleho were found by the police, on the streets where they’d been living after being abandoned by their mother.
We are unsure how long they were living on the street, but it appears that they had been there quite a while.
Lerato and Ketleho are now living at and attending school at Rachel’s Home. Lerato is in Grade 3, while Ketleho is in Grade 1.
Kidnappings, assaults and murder of women and girls is a growing crisis in Lesotho. The children at Rachel’s Home must live with this constant fear. We ask for your prayers at this very difficult time.
The police found Rethabile abandoned in the bush in late March and brought to Rachel’s Home.
To this point, no family has been identified. We believe that he is about 6 months old.
