Nairn-Taylor Coffee Party:  We would like to convey our appreciation to all who supported us and made our 53rd Coffee Party such a success.  We are grateful to those who donated loaves, gave us the extra "legs" we required, purchased tickets and brought friends.

Lesotho: The “Food” In & Out box is now in the hall. Pick an envelope from the “In Box” with the food you would like to subsidize, place it in the “Out Box” with the correct amount in the envelope. Thank you for your support.

  • Soweto Marimba Youth League: Central will host a concert by children from Soweto on Sunday evening October 3, 2010.
  • Small Group Rally: There will be a Small Group Information Rally after the service on Sunday September 19.  Information will be available on groups that are currently running, how to start a new small group and resources available in our church for small groups.  Small groups provide a wonderful opportunity to grow in our faith and to build community.
  • Presbytery Visitation: As part of its regular care for congregations, representatives from the Presbytery will visit with members of the Session, the Board of Managers and the congregation on Saturday, November 13, 2010.
  • Leave of Absence: Colin Carmichael’s request for a two year leave of absence from his duties on Session has been granted.
  • Election of Elders: Eight of the people nominated by the congregation have agreed to let their names stand for election as elders.  Please pray for them as they respond to God’s call to serve Him in this congregation.
