Stuffed Animals Needed for Split Lake Kids

Doug and Marion Whistance are heading up in mid-August to Split Lake, Manitoba, for a visit to the Cree community where Doug previously taught at Chief Sam Cook School. They would like to take a box of NEW or GENTLY USED stuffed animals for the young children who attend funerals often in this community. The stuffed animals will also be used as rewards for good school attendance. This is Central’s national mission project so please support Doug and Marion’s trip by placing your stuffed animals in the labeled basket in the Narthex. Please contact Doug if you have any questions. Missions and Outreach Committee.
