This summer, children from JK to Grade 6 meet in the hall for Children’s Church. This summer’s theme is “The Armour of God”. 2 & 3 year olds meet in their classroom for Pray and Play Sunday School.
The flowers on the Communion Table are placed in memory of Larry Dornan by his loving wife, Muriel.
Wedding Banns: This will serve to announce the upcoming marriage of Jay Geddes and Ashley Chow. The marriage will take place on Saturday, August 28th.
The congregation of Central Church extends their sympathies to Pat Brunel. Pat’s friend, Bill Miller, died this past week. Our sympathies also go out to Bill’s family, Bruce and Bill Miller, Jr.
Lesotho: The “Food” In & Out box is now in the hall. Pick an envelope from the “In Box” with the food you would like to subsidize, place it in the “Out Box” with the correct amount in the envelope. Thank you for your support.

There will be an exciting new bible study starting in September. For women only. Please keep your Friday mornings open. The study is “Breaking Free, The Journey, The Stories”, by Beth Moore. The exact start date will be posted soon.
The Christian Education Committee is planning another Harvest Supper and Autumn Fair on Saturday, October 23rd.
As you plant your garden, please add an extra row of seeds. We need tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, potatoes, beans, peas, squash, turnip, etc. When preparing your preserves, pickles, jams and jellies, please make a few additional jars to be sold at the fair.
