At Rachel’s Children’s Home, we are supporting 57 children; but, that is only the beginning of the story.
Libuseng is finishing her final year at University. Two more graduates of Rachel’s Home, Tsepang and Moloshane are entering University this year. Mined Recreations has generously sponsored Tsepang. Central is continuing to support Moloshane until we find a sponsor for her.
In Lesotho, when children move on from elementary school to “Form A”, the equivalent of high school, they attend boarding schools. This is much more costly than the orphanage. Central is currently supporting twelve children at High School; but, we need more financial support, if we are to continue this support.
At the elementary school, we are currently paying the salaries of the teachers and in the orphanage we are providing some basic food staples (no-where near enough) as well as a vitamin supplement program.
